Questions families ask
Short answers. If your case is unusual, come to a sitting or write to us.
When was the organisation established?
Khuddam-e-Hujjaj Pune District was established in 2006. We have more than 18 years of experience in Haj coordination, training and pilgrim support.
Is this the official Haj Committee website?
No. This is the public site of Khuddam-e-Hujjaj Pune District. We work closely with the Maharashtra State Haj Committee. Official applications, payments, qurrah and visas are handled only by the Haj Committee of India and the concerned State Haj Committee.
Where do I apply for Haj?
Create an account and submit the Haj Application Form at hajcommittee.gov.in or on the Haj Suvidha App. After selection, follow the State Haj Committee instructions for documents and payments.
Do you charge a fee?
Khidmat and tarbiyat arranged by this committee are offered as service. Official Haj fare and government charges are paid only through the channels published by the Haj Committee of India.
Where is the training held?
Regular tarbiyat is organised at Pensionwala Masjid, Nana Peth, Pune, usually on Saturdays and Sundays during the training season. Extra gatherings may be held at Azam Campus or other announced venues.
Who can attend tarbiyat?
Selected Hujjaj of Pune District and their accompanying family members. Others who wish to prepare or volunteer may contact the committee before arriving.
Can women apply without a mehram?
Follow the Haj Committee of India guidelines for the year you are applying. Rules on ladies without mehram, age and medical fitness are set by the official policy, not by this committee.
I already performed Haj. Can I apply again?
Repeat applications through the Haj Committee of India are restricted except in categories allowed in that year's guidelines, such as certain mehram or companion cases. Read the current official policy.
How do I raise a grievance?
Call +91 88064 31442, use the Contact page, or speak to the committee at a training sitting. We take complaints of malpractice, misrepresentation or poor treatment seriously.
How do I become a volunteer?
Use the Volunteer page on this website or speak to the committee at a training session. We need people who can be regular, patient with elders, and comfortable in a masjid setting.
